The fine print

Last updated September 2026

Ved's Kitchen is run by Vedran out of Toronto. You order through this site, I cook it fresh, and it gets delivered on the schedule shown at checkout. Placing an order means you're at least 18 and okay with everything below.

Orders & the weekly schedule

Payment happens in full when you order. Delivery runs once a week — order before the cutoff and it's that week's batch, order after and it's the following week. The exact date shows before you pay, so there's no guessing.

Cancelling or changing an order

Once the cutoff's passed, everything's already in motion — fresh food, portioned to order, so I can't promise I can undo it. Before the cutoff, email ved@vedskitchen.com and I'll sort it out.

If something's wrong with your order

Wrong item, missing side, something that just isn't right — email me at ved@vedskitchen.com with what happened. I read every message myself, and if the mistake was mine, I'll make it right — a redo, a refund, whatever actually fixes it. I'd genuinely rather hear from you than have you just not order again.

Delivery

Right now that's Toronto and a bit of the GTA — check your postal code on the order page to see if you're covered. Someone needs to actually be around to take it in; if that's not going to work, email me and we'll figure it out.

Allergies

My kitchen isn't allergen-free. Anything you order could contain, or have touched, any of the major allergens — peanuts, tree nuts, milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, soy, wheat, sesame, mustard, sulphites. The ingredients listed on the site are a description, not a guarantee.

If an allergy or sensitivity actually matters for your health, don't rely on the website — email me first and tell me what I need to know. If you order without doing that, you're taking on the risk that something in it doesn't work for you.

Reheating

Everything arrives fully cooked — reheating instructions are right on the package, so you're never guessing.

What I'm liable for

If something goes wrong that's genuinely on me, I'll make it right — that covers almost anything that could actually happen. On the rare chance it ever needed to be spelled out more formally: I can't guarantee any dish suits every person or condition, and the most I'd ever be responsible for is what you paid for that order, nothing beyond it. This doesn't touch any protection the law says can't be signed away.

The legal basics

This is governed by Ontario and Canadian law. If any one part of this ever doesn't hold up, everything else still stands. And if I ever update this page, the version that was live when you ordered is the one that applies to that order.
